🔥The first step to operate after installing the microscope

After assembling the microscope, the first step is to prioritize using the one-click exposure function. Then, place a piece of white paper horizontally directly below the lens and perform a one-click white balance. In most cases, this will achieve the most suitable results for your working environment. (Don't forget to turn on the LED light.)

🔥You may be wondering what the actual difference is between different microscope chips.

Both use a 150X lens, and the stand and LED lights are exactly the same. As you can see, under the same distance and with the same accessories, the microscope kit with the Sony IMX678 chip produces more vibrant colors and a wider field of view than the one with the Sony IMX415 chip.

🔥Pre-purchase Tips

The Sony IMX678 camera has a 1/1.8" sensor. Our 150X lens is designed for cameras with a sensor size of 1/2" or smaller.When paired together, it will crop roughly 10.4% of the field of view on the Sony IMX678 camera, because the lens is not properly matched to this camera.
However, this lens has a long working distance, which is why we put together this kit.If you have higher standards, I recommend buying our 215X zoom lens (0.75X–4.5X zoom) to pair with the Sony IMX678 camera.This 215X lens supports 1/1.8" sensors perfectly — the only trade-off is that the working distance will be reduced to 12.7 cm.
